PLOT: Stu (Ed Helms) is getting married in Thailand, and his wolf pack, including Phil (Bradley Cooper), Alan (Zach Galifianakis), and Doug (Justin Bartha) are there to walk him down the aisle. Swearing off bachelor parties after their experience in Vegas, the boys opt for a quiet beach bonfire, in the company of Stu's fiancées brother, Teddy (Mason Lee). Despite their good intentions, the next morning Stu, Phil, and Alan wake up in a seedy motel room in Bangkok, with no memory of the night before, and Teddy missing. Now the three have to embark on a mad quest through Bangkok to find Teddy in time for Stu's wedding.
Loved the callback to the chocolate milk with salt, as well as the usage of past episodes for the very short video.
I really enjoyed Manny's interaction with Cam. It was sweet. As was the nod to fans annoyed that Lily doesn't talk yet.
Liked the Humphrey sibs together; Luke was hilarious in his editing of the video. I've always liked the Claire/Mitchell interaction, and I'm really glad they included that this episode. They have a really strong and realistic relationship.
So I wonder if Cam/Mitchell will adopt another Vietnamese baby or go for a US adoption. This is just speculation but I could see them going with a US open adoption type scenario if only because I think there would be humor in them going through numerous possible birth mother candidates.
and awww.. Jay and Manny. That was so sweet of Manny. Not gonna lie, may have teared up a little!
I'm glad New Directions didn't place. Maybe next season they can actually rehearse like a real show choir instead of writing/arranging/choreographing original songs in a matter of days and winning with that shit. I did like "Light Up the World" but mostly because of Santana.
I AM IN LOVE WITH BRITTANY. She deserves all the goddamn awards. Santana should've kissed her after that speech, but I'm glad they're friends again. I've really missed them being all cutesy in the background lately.
Finchel is so boring I was really not paying attention while they were on screen. Which was unfortunately most of the ep.
I love Kurt/Rachel's friendship. "For Good" was great, although I wish they hadn't cut it. They should've let them sing the whole song and cut down on the Sunshine mess that means nothing.
What was Quinn's big plan? Whatever, I loved the Unholy Trinity scene. I've missed them too. ALSO - Quinn totally knows Santana is gay. Does this mean the whole club knows? And Santana didn't seem to care. See Santana, NO ONE CARES. Just come out & be with Britt next season, k?
Oh and I loved the NY mash-up. As a song alone its not fabulous but the visuals made it. I was bopping the whole time, loved seeing all the NY landmarks.
As for Samcedes. I approve, Mercedes deserves a nice guy.
Once again, Justin Timberlake did a great job. Looks like the writers saved most of their best material for him. As for Lady GaGa, she's no slouch either performance and comedy-wise, especially in the "Liquorville," game show and "3-Way (Golden Rule)" sketches. If she eventually hosts, I not only wouldn't be suprised, as long as the sketches were on JT level, I'd be thrilled.
I was laughing out loud so many times. I have to re-watch to even remember. I knew something was going to happen to Ron's facial hair once they said "lighter fluid".
Other great moments: Ron saying he only cried twice in his life - once he got hit by a bus and the other time when he found out lil' Sebastian died. Donna reading the poem Ann's officemate saying "get these fucking balloons out of here" The swiveling chair Andy and April's reaction to getting paid $50 to write a song The random guy smashing the coffee pot The butt dialing and political foreplay
I have to watch again b/c I know I laughed so much and am forgetting too many things.
I will be really sad if Aziz leaves next season. I jumped on his bandwagon after he was on Scrubs for a few episodes. I love him!
I'm really enjoying the fact that the writers have decided to give Haley more depth as of late. The anxiety that she experiences as a result of listening to her college-bound friends' excited gabbing about that impending time is entirely realistic and forces me to generate compassion for the character. Her deepening relationship with Alex is another credit to the show's writing staff. It doesn't progress with false rapidity nor does it ring hollow; it's very organic.
And while I didn't laugh when Cam hit the glass door, I cracked up when he hit the screen door. I apparently only think it's funny when it doesn't involve a lot of pain- walking into a solid door HURTS. The pool wasn't funny because it was cliche (like the doors weren't? I have no solid argument here) but if someone did it in real life, and wasn't hurt- it would be hysterical.
Call me lame, but Julie Bowen and Ty Burrell's bodies deserve an ovation. First, Phil's ass as he waited to be hoisted over the gate, then the insanity of their legs on that bicycle, and finally, not so much the tumble down the hill as much as the way they popped straight up and collected themselves before proceeding to their seats. I was howling. I love watching physical comedy between the two of them.
I really liked Haley and Alex's talk, and that Alex totally got what Haley was worried about. And that she ended up using Haley's song suggestions, and that it was Gloria's favorite part of the speech.
I also enjoyed Manny's "Well, one of us will graduate." Poor Luke, though I totally believe he opened the door with his mind.
A mighty fine performance by Jane Lynch. There's the Sue I missed, the one that can be snarky, but also human enough not to be a caricature. I do wonder, though, if Will and ND won't be in her sights, how she's going to be relevant to the show? Her running for the House doesn't tie her to McKinley.
The only audition performance I liked was Santana's. I thought Mercedes strangled that song, she was super shouty and screechy. Rachel was Rachel, great vocals, what more can be said? Kurt, meh, not so keen on him singing soprano for a whole song.
I noticed that Puck wasn't singing during the funeral tribute, but just stood there. I wonder why?
Will was very good tonight, especially with Sue. His reading in her place at the funeral was very moving. The Wonka theme was also very touching. I feel horrible for wondering this, but did the actress who played Jean die? It seemed like the show was paying a tribute to her, not just her character.
Finn, Finn, Finn. I can see why he decided to break up with Quinn. He hasn't been into the relationship for quite some time now. But to do it right after a funeral? Carpe diem and all, but sheesh, have a little sensitivity.
I wish Nationals wasn't original songs. It was ok for a one-off "Glee" gimmick, but I wanted to be wowed with mash-ups, solos and fun group numbers.
In all fairness, I liked some parts. Serena was awesome, and I haven't liked her much in the past two years. Honey, it's in your best interest to stay away from the fucked up shit that happens on the UES. Stay happy in California! Oh, and Georgina. But I always love Georgina. I think I'll have to rewatch her scenes, just because.
Now that I've had time to sit on the Dan book stuff (I read the spoilers), it's an interesting idea. But the chances that these writers will do it justice? Slim to none, really. He didn't come off looking like as big of a douche as I thought he would in the reveal, but I think that he will be played up as a douche for "playing" everyone next season, when it all comes out.
The Thorpe stuff was stupid. The "saving" was so fucking lame. We didn't even get a fire. Come on, if you're going to "threaten" someone's life, show, actually do it. Instead, it's a bunch of talking and people running around. Even Raina's goodbye scene was dumb. There were like three lines in it.
Everything Chuck and Blair pissed me off. Leighton's acting was actually pretty bad in many parts. Maybe she wasn't happy about it either? I'm so annoyed that "Rolling in the Deep" was used for a CB sex scene, too. It's a great song, but bad associations now. I'll just try to think of the way Glee used it instead. Then again, the lyrics aren't about a healthy relationship, so it's got that going for it.
But seriously, the worst part was Blair being pregnant. WTF are the writers thinking with this?! Timeline wise, it could be Louis', but chances are, it's Chuck's. And Eleanor would not take a pregnancy test in Blair's bathroom, so it's not hers. I've been looking for a good enough push to quit watching. I think I found it. So yeah, I think I'm finally done. But I will have to stick around in the forums for a bit to see the aftermath.
By the way, what did Charlie/Ivy steal? It looked like checks, but I'm not sure. I'm just curious.
Not a perfect finale, but the best since S4. I have to give TPTB credit for surprising me more than once.
I wasn't expecting Paul/Felicia/Susan to be wrapped up so quickly. It was so annoying how Paul believed everything he heard, even if it was the right thing. Also, why does there have to be a hostage situation in almost every finale? I knew Beth was going to be responsible for a death, and I figured it would be Felicia. I couldn't be happier that she's finally gone. I can't believe Susan told Paul he wasn't a killer when she suspected him of killing Martha in S1 (so his confession shouldn't have surprised her). So what happens to all the houses he bought? And why didn't Paul wonder why Felicia still had Beth's ashes after they dumped them in the river?
Way to jerk me around re: Tom/Lynette, PTB. When he came back, I actually groaned. When she started her heartfelt speech about what she felt while he was gone, my first thought was, Here we go again, now he's going to take her back. I so wasn't expecting her to admit she was relieved. Please, please, please let this separation last awhile, preferably an entire season. Doug/Felicity were fantastic in those scenes, probably their best work of the season.

Gaby/Alejandro was pretty predictable--who didn't know where he'd end up as soon as they showed the chest?--but my heart started pounding as soon as Carlos (who I wasn't expecting to appear at all) saw them together. I also couldn't help but think of Gaby knocking Victor off the boat thinking that he had a gun on him even though she was defending Carlos, who wanted to confess then too.
