True Blood -4×6- I Wish I Was The Moon

How is it that Tara, who was so terrified just the night before is now strolling around at night, showing her girlfriend around like they're at Disney World? I can almost see her doing it during the day, but shouldn't she have then been like, "Um, we gotta get the hell outta here before nightfall. Big scary vampires wanna kill me." She knows Eric is in town and not missing, and she knew Pam would be pissed too. So...why is she just hanging out at night? Why not at least be inside Lafayette's house, where vamps couldn't enter?

Jessica and Jason were the best part of the show.

I've over sweet, memory-less Eric. Ready for him to turn back into his bad-ass self now.

I think the actor who plays Sam did a great job being Tommy. Tommy is a dick, but at the same time, he fired Sookie, so I can't hate him completely. I also liked that he seem genuinely hurt by what Maxine said. Interesting that his shift to Sam wasn't deliberate.

Alcide, grow some balls. That is all.

Bill is a douche, but I knew he wouldn't kill Eric.

I did kind of like Andy getting a date. It was kind of cute. If only he weren't an addict, he might actually be a good prospect for Holly.

I actually felt bad for Arlene despite myself. She may think she has a devil baby, but it's clear she loves him. She was frantic when she thought Mikey was still in the house.

Thundercats Season 1 Ep 1&2 The Sword Of Omens

Very interesting. It's a bit of an overhaul, and I'm betting that it'll cause friction amongst the fandom. What's your poison: an elite group crash-landing on Third Earth (where did that name come from?), led by an all-powerful man-child . . . or a kingdom of humanoid cats (don't call 'em furries, don't call 'em furries, don't . . .) that have been on Third Earth for generations? Well, if I can roll with Transformers: Prime (CGI robots, five Autobots total) and G.I. Joe: Renegades (Cobra as a powerful concern, a bunch of "Joes" hunted by the government), I think I can deal with the new status quo.

So far, it's hitting most of the notes. Lion-O as a teen that's interested in the obscure stuff called "technology"? Check. Villain voiced by Clancy Brown? If I'm not wrong about that . . . check. Anime'd-up Snarf that's cute anddoesn't say anything beyond what an Earth cat would? Check. I do have to ask . . . was Tigra an asshole back in the day? I only remember bits and pieces, including the time he got strung out on drugs, but I was probably too busy thinking Snarf was annoying. And I'm betting Panthro is out there, so that's something to look forward to.

True Blood -4×5- Me and The Devil

Loved tonight's episode! My favorite scene was hands down the Jessica, Hoyt and Jason dream! That was so well written and played out. Loved the return of Lettie Mae and the Reverend. She actually got him to marry her? Wow! That whole cleansing the house was quite hilarious.

Tommy killing his parents was also very well played out. I was just as worried as Sam when Andy went to open the back of the Van. Tommy thinks really well on his feet. That gator was a big shock. Loved him actually being torn up that he accidentally killed that no count mother of his. It showed he can still be redeemable and isn't a pure sociopath. I was really surprised that Sam didn't hesitate to help him, but I guess that's just second nature to him.

Love, love, love Tara. I don't care! She's the only real character left on this show. She's the real human reaction to the crazy situations that this town provides. This show needs that and her on it. She spoke the truth to Sookie. She couldn't even deny it. Why does that make her annoying? I'll never understand that train of thought.

I was indifferent to the whole Eric and Sookie kiss. I'm just ready for them to do it, so that we can move on already. It's getting too Twilight-ish for me. I just have never cared about Sookie and her merry troop of men and who she'll end up with.

We now see Antonia has every right to hate vampires. Even while burning at the stake she sent thousands of vampires to their death. Wow. So, we're to assume those were the vampires day walkers carrying out their orders that burned her at the stake in the sunlight. I can't wait to see their full evolution.

Bill and Pam make for a great dynamic on screen together. Loved their scenes together. I think that was Antonia that Bill was speaking to and not Marnie. I don't think Marnie was being glamoured.

True Blood -4×4- I’m Alive And On Fire

Thank God Uncle Daddy Felton is dead. I just don't think I could have delt with both Joe-Lee and Felton at the same time.

Jason is FREE! Yay! Damn that seemed like forever, even though it was only a couple of days. I did feel bad for the young girl though. Crystal is such a bitch I have no doubt she going to be severely punished for setting him free. There better not be any cubs to draw him back to Hot-Shot.Just a feeling that Jessica feeding him her blood might have unintended consequences.

Hah, Bill just fucked his greatxhowever-many granddaughter! And you thought incest was just for Hotshot!

Marnie/Creeper witch is a bad bitch! Pam had that coming. Poor Pam my ass. You act arrogant towards a witch that took on your maker of a thousand years and don't expect for her to turn on you? Foolish! She had it coming. I'm glad that Tara didn't flinch or flake out when Pam was ordering them around. Good for Lafayette for finding his balls for a minute, but quickly hiding behind Tara when he got scared again! Lol.

Sam and Luna. I still don't know how I feel about these two an it better pick up soon before I don't care.

I'm loving Eric this season. It has nothing to do with the Eric/Sookie thing either. I just love the dichotomy of seeing a vampire realize his imperfections and what he's lost in all of the centuries that he had forgotten about being human. To imagine seeing light for the first time in a thousand years was very well played.

True Blood -4×3- If You Love Me, Why Am I Dyin’?

I loathe, abhor, detest, revile, cannot cannot cannot stand the Hotshot "propagating the species," AKA mass rape, storyline. Absolutely hate it. It's gross and frankly, scary. I know this is a show about vampires and weres and whatnot, and lots of people have died violently, but I haven't found anything scary until this. And not "jump scary," not fun to watch scary just scary. And I repeat, gross. Ryan Kwanten deserves better.

Jessica glamouring Hoyt was particularly sad and I feel like that's not going to end well. Is Mrs. Fortenberry leaving all those creepy dolls around? And why the hell would you want your baby, evil or not, playing with a doll like that?

Love how Eric described what had been taken from him to Sookie. All the Sookie and Eric scenes were amazing, just wish there were more screentime overall. I felt the Pam scene at Sookie's house could have easily used another 2 minutes as well. They could have cut the Tommy plotline altogether and given more screentime to Eric & Pam, and that would have been just fine with me.

I'm wondering if Lafayette is a necessary ingredient in Marnie's magic. She had to beg and bleed herself to bring forth whatever spirit she's trying to channel. It wasn't so hard when Laf was part of her circle. I'm sort of iffy on Jesus now. Is he a good or bad influence on Laf? I'm not sure.

True Blood -4×2- You Smell Like Dinner

Oh my goodness. This episode was five zillion times better than the season's premiere, even though I still think there are too many unnecessary narrative trajectories (e.g. Andy as a junkie, Arlene as a hysterical mother of a potentially Satanic baby, Sam's brother).

Eric... his bow to Bill was epic! I couldn't stop laughing. And the last scenes, the way he went from confidant, badass vamp to lost boy in less than a sec was brilliant! It made the whole ep. for me.

Jason's story looked o.k. in the first part of the first ep. But now? Number one, the ep.2 opened with him being licked by a hillbilly kid, and that grossed me more than graveyardsex and the orgies, way back when. Number two, we are forced to watch more than 5 min of Crystal and baby-daddy-whose-swimmers-are-lazy, trying to hump him (for different reasons, obviously)?!?! And those 5 min are expanding into the next ep.???

Crystal... Just. Go. And. Die. Already.

Fiona Shaw is rocking the house as Marnie - that whole witches coven scene was TB at its best.  Who knew a Big Bad on a Beanbag would work?

Liked the Bill flashbacks - Bill is such a better character (and Stephen Moyer a better actor) when he is so sneaky and hypocritical and manipulative that even HE is getting confused as to which side he is on (great scene with his face all blood-polkadotted, lying his ass off to Nan). Pam's little dismissal of Sookie's moaning - she is so right on with the bullshit-ometer, as she showed with Jessica in the previous episode.

QSA... Never warmed up to her, but I still didn't like the way she ended her run. I wanted to see an epic fight, not Bill winning in the most pathetic way possible-with a help from his little human army friends... and Nan.

I really hope they don't drag the Jessica/Hoyt trainwreck storyline out too much. I'm so sick of the general tv attitude that everyone needs to sow their wild oats, people who settle down young are always unhappy and trapped, etc. I'd rather see people who want unattatched lifestyles living them without trying to be someone they're not and hurting people in the process.

Sam and the Shifters. I actually like this side story, though I wish he would stop being so angry. I hope Luna (hopefully not wearing her mommy's face right now) helps mellow him back to the guy we all liked in Season 1 and 2.

Lafayette and Jesus, I liked them but now I'm getting a ooky feeling about Jesus being pushy about the magic.

Poor Terry, has his hands full with a baby and Arlene the nutjob (I hope she's just a nutjob and the baby isn't really a demon or something).

Tara came back, looks great but is lying to her girlfriend... I'm happy to see her in a good place but she'll probably need to go back to New Orleans to get away from the crazy. She's been home what? A few hours and already had a run-in with a vampire.

PAM. Gosh, I want her to be my bestie. I want her to take Jessica under her wing, teach her some ridiculously sassy deadpan humor, and send her off to bask in bloodlust.
