Coming Soon : Scott Pilgrim Vs The World

Based on the graphic novels of the same name, Scott stars Michael Cera as the 22-year-old title character, a bass guitarist for garage band Sex Bob-omb, who just met the girl of this dreams Ramona Flowers (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) and he must defeat her seven evil exes in order to win her heart.

The picture also stars Kieran Culkin, Chris Evans, Anna Kendrick, Alison Pill, Brandon Routh and Jason Schwartzman and hits theaters on August 13.

Well I'm sorry for the language but this looks pretty fucking amazing. Fresh, unique, stylized, action-packed, very funny and with great characters.

New Music : N*E*R*D feat. Nelly Furtado : "Hot & Fun"

Lead single from their 4th album, Nothing.

I'm loving this! Its so reminiscent of ODB Got Your Money. It has that certain groove to it. They are gonna come back with classics with this album.

Casting About : Emma Roberts Ready To Scream. Meet Your New Prof Xavier

As Scream 4 gets ready to begin filming next month for an April 2011 release, the first confirmed casting has been announced. Emma Roberts ( niece of Julia Roberts)has won the role of "Jill" (similar to the Neve Campbell role from the original).

I think this is a pretty good casting choice since Emma has a sweet girl next door vibe.

James McAvoy has signed on to play a young Charles Xavier, aka Professor X, in “X-Men: First Class,” which Matthew Vaughn is directing for Fox.

If you're not up to date on the project, it's essentially a prequel that follows Xavier and Lensherr and their friendship before they became enemies.

The movie is being planned for a June 3, 2011, release.

GREEN LANTERN: THE SERIES Coming To Cartoon Network!!

The chairman of Turner Networks unveiled a slide to Time Warner investors that read “Green Lantern: The Animated Series.”

According to The Hollywood Reporter: The TV series is expected to launch in the second year after the film release.

The actual movie won't hit the cinema until June 17 of next year, so most likely that means the series will arrive in 2013.

New Vid: Reflection Eternal " So Good "

I was almost ready to suggest that maybe they mailed this one in. Then, Kweli jumped off the poster and started rapping. I am amused and easily entertained.

Thumbs up, gentlemen. Thumbs up to all parties involved.

Transformers 3 New Leading Lady

Last week, it was reported that Megan Fox would not be appearing in TRANSFORMERS 3, and that a new role (a new romantic lead for Shia) was being developed.

Well Victoria’s Secret Angel Rose Huntington-Whitely has been chosen as the frontrunner to replace the exiled Megan Fox in the forthcoming sequel.

No, Whitely hasn’t acted in anything ever, and is best known for being skinny and walking in a straight line wearing lingerie, but Michael Bay films aren’t exactly known for their complex female characters. If she can run away from an explosion in slow motion, that’s really all you need.

Looking through her pictures, I think she’s hot, yes. But she’s REALLY damn skinny, and in some of her pictures, I think she looks a bit uh, alien? I don’t really know another word to describe it, and I've posted some compare and contrast photos below. Say what you will about Fox’s bitchiness, but I think in the looks department she has the one–up here.

Coming Soon: The Killer Inside Me

Cast:
Casey Affleck, Kate Hudson, Jessica Alba, Ned Beatty, Elias Koteas, Bill Pullman

THE KILLER INSIDE ME premiered at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year and its graphic violence sharply divided audiences. While some were turned off by the film, some said it was easily the best film seen at Sundance.

Check out the trailer below to see if it's up your alley . The film opens in limited release June 18th

Put You Up On : Clara Harris

Youtube, Google, Do what you have to get into Clara Harris and her music.

It's really a crime when real artist with good music constantly get slept on.

Shout Out to John Braxton one of my facebook friends for putting me on.

Coming Soon : The Last Exorcism

Produced by Eli Roth and directed by Daniel Stamm, the film follows Reverend Cotton Marcus (Patrick Fabian) who invites a film crew to document his final fraudulent days as an exorcist. Soon his faith is truly tested when a desperate plea from the father of a possessed girl (Ashley Bell) brings him face to face with the devil himself.

The performances look strong in these short glimpses and a girl bending herself way out human shape will always fuck me up.

One Of The Best Reasons To Watch Glee: Heather Morris

Rachel, Finn, Kurt, Mercedes if you are a fan of Fox's Glee surely one of those names are one of your favorite characters. But for me ditsy clueless cheerleader Brittany played with dead-pan exuberance by Heather Morris has emerged as a fan favorite.

Brought on to the show as an extra, Heather impressed creator Ryan Murphy so much that he kept giving her lines and now she has been upped to a season regular.

Rock The Bells Tour

Coming soon to a 4 city near you is The Rock The Bells tour. The Wu-Tang Clan will headline with a start-to-finish performance of their 1993 debut, Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers). They’ll be joined by Slick Rick, performing 1988′s The Great Adventures of Slick Rick; Rakim, performing his and Eric B’s 1987 Paid in Full; and KRS-One, performing Boogie Down Productions’ 1987 Criminal Minded.

That list right there is a handy summary of why a certain era of NY hip-hop has been referred to as a golden age. Each of those albums is a classic. Seeing not one but four such records performed as it originally appeared on wax? Yeah, that’s pretty cool.

I'm seriously bummed that the nearest city near me that this is coming to is Washington D.C.. Oh well perfect time for a road trip.

Head over to the Rock The Bells website http://www.rockthebells.net/ to check out the concert dates and full list of performers. Are you interested in seeing any of these shows? Which album would you be most psyched to see performed in its entirety?

Christina Aguilera Bionic: My Thoughts

.

TRACKLISTING:

1. “Bionic”
2. “Not Myself Tonight”
3. “Woohoo” (featuring Nicki Minaj)
4. “Elastic Love”
5. “Desnudate”
6. “Love & Glamour (Intro)”
7. “Glam”
8. “Prima Donna”
9. “Morning Dessert (Intro)”
10. “Sex for Breakfast”
11. “Lift Me Up”
12. “My Heart (Intro)”
13. “All I Need”
14. “I Am”
15. “You Lost Me”
16. “I Hate Boys”
17. “My Girls” (featuring Peaches)
18. “Vanity”

The title track, Bionic, serves as the albums opener and its a great intro for the album. I think it could have been shortened and just been an "Intro" instead of a full song as it seems to drag towards the end.

Next up is the lead single, Not Myself Tonight, which is rather weak and underwhelming. It sounds more like a bonus track than a lead single. Kind of loses the momentum that Bionic helped to build with opening the album.

Up next, though, is WooHoo which features Nicki Minaj. Its a fun track about oral sex and definitely got me feeling the album more after the lackluster Not Myself Tonight. Its a little ridiculous in parts, but its okay, the song is about oral sex anyways. It was hardly meant to be some lyrical masterpiece. The line "You don't need even need a plate, just your face, ha!" is one of the best lines in the album.

Following WooHoo is Elastic Love which sounds like something from Gwen Stefani's debut album, Love.Angel.Music.Baby. However, thats not a bad thing. I happened to love that album, especially the songs that were like this one. It would be a risky single choice, but its still a fantastic track.

Up next is the reggaeton inspired Desnudate, which sounds like it should feature Pitbull and take over the clubs this summer. Definitely a solid track.

The next track, Glam is a decent album track and sounds like it should be the theme song to "Rupaul's Drag Race".

Following Glam is, what I feel, the worst track on the album. That would be Prima Donna. Its just bad on so many levels. The lyrics are rather stupid, and normally its not an issue, but given that she screams on a lot of it, it just fall flat for me. It could have easily been left off the album.

Following Prima Donna is the start of the slower songs on the album. The first one being the sexy slow jam, Sex For Breakfast. Its nothing amazing, but its definitely a nice laid back sexy R&B track.

The next track is possibly my favorite on the album. Lift Me Up is simply fantastic. She performed a stripped down version earlier this year for the Help for Haiti telethon, and I wasn't really feeling it. However, in its original studio version, its definitely fantastic and what I picture a Christina ballad to be.

The next is the only "interlude" worth mentioning. Its only 21 seconds, but it features a cameo from her baby boy Max. At first I was like, oh no, then I heard Max say "mama" and I couldn't help but smile. It was just too cute.

The song after that interlude is another great ballad from Christina. All I Need has a fantastic melody. Sounds like something that could have fit in nicely on Back to Basics, but it still fits nicely in this album.

Up next is the beautiful I Am. I love the use of her lower register on this one. She sounds fantastic on this. She doesn't over sing the song. I'm thinking this was a Sia track.

You Lost Me
is f**king brilliant. It reminded me of "Walk Away" from Stripped, and it definitely does and does not disappoint.

Up next is the start of 3 more uptempos that close out the album. I Hate Boys features chants of how "boys suck" and what not. This is definitely not my cup of tea. Could have done without it on the album.

My Girls
is up next and it features Peaches. It reminds me of Scissor Sisters and I kind of like it. Its totally gay, but its a fun track nonetheless.

Closing out the album is Vanity which is f**king amazing. A lot of people call Christina "cocky" and "full of herself" and this whole song is about how much she loves herself. The lyrics are ridiculous, but in a good way, and the production is very nice. It was a great way to close out the album.

Overall - 6.8

New Music: NeYo Beautiful Monster

It’s been two years since Ne-Yo released his last album, Year of the Gentleman, but we’ll be hearing a full-length LP from him soon. This morning he debuted “Beautiful Monster,” the first single from his forthcoming Libra Scale album.

The song was produced by duo Stargate, who are responsible for Ne-Yo’s biggest hits “So Sick,” “Because of You,” and “Closer.

It sounds like an alternate version of Closer but i can see it becoming a smash on Pop radio

Your thoughts ?

Lost : The End My Thoughts

I had to think this finale over a bit, especially the ending. But after headbutting my desk for a while, reviewing some scenes and key lines, I couldn't be more satisfied.

I'm so happy that everything that happened on the Island was real. Lapidis, Miles, Richard, Kate, Claire and Sawyer made it safely away. Hurley, Ben and Desmond survived on the island and lived out their lives. And Jack, sadly, died after saving them all. The impact of these events, or anything that's happened, aren't lessened.

I'm not disappointed by the reveal that the sideways flashes have been of a type of purgatory at all. And when I look back on this season, it makes so much sense now. It's like a self imposed exile they've constructed because they're not ready to move on from the people they knew; or a type of penance or making up for the things they never did when they lived. Jack constructed himself a family he attended to when in his living life he was so caught up in work he turned his own wife away. Sawyer was a cop to balance out the crimes he commited. It's why Ben wouldn't go into the church with the rest of them, it's why Eloise Hawkings didn't want Desmond to take Daniel: they all had to make peace for things they couldn't when alive, and waited for each other until they were ready.

I really couldn't ask for more than this finale; it's more than I could have hoped, that's for sure. What a well crafted, touching, fitting ending to the show.

Glee: Season 3 already picked up by FOX, Gleeks rejoice

Fox has renewed "Glee" for a third season -- before Season 2 has even started filming. "Glee" is the No. 1 new series in the coveted adult demographic, so it's no surprise that Fox plans to keep it around, but it is a sign of the network's confidence in the show's ability to keep up the hype.

Peter Rice, the Fox Networks Group Entertainment Chairman, says, "In just one year, 'Glee' has transcended the television landscape and emerged as a global pop culture phenomenon,".

Fox Entertainment President Kevin Reilly, who was interrupted by Sue Sylvester herself on stage at the FOX Upfronts presentation on May 17, adds that "'Glee' has one of the most active, devoted fan bases I've ever seen, and we couldn't be more thrilled to give Gleeks a third season of their favorite show."

"Glee" executive producer Ryan Murphy says, "It's been a whirlwind year - from shooting the pilot to performing at the White House to the concert tour that began last week - and yet we all feel like we've just begun this amazing musical journey. We think our Gleeks worldwide are going to love what we'll have in store for them in seasons two and three."

Looks like Rachel, Finn, Kurt, Quinn and company have at least two more years of high school to look forward to. Bring on the slushies!

Lost : The End

Lost - Season 6 - Finale - The End

“The End” is finally upon us. The Super Bowl of Geekdom has finally arrived. How do I feel? Just…weird. Excited. Nervous. Sad. Relieved. Detached. Overwhelmed. I am certain this heightened flux of emotions will make watching the show and enjoying it and appreciating it and assessing it extremely challenging.

I want the finale to rock. And if it doesn’t, I promise to do my best and take off the rose colored glasses and say so. But what I can’t deny is the experience that has brought me here. And that experience has been amazing — the best ride TV has ever given me.

In the new trailer for season 3, Bill does not wish to be found, Sookie looks like dinner (again), Jason needs to know if there’s a Santa Claus, Tara gets her face licked, and Sookie totally undresses for Eric at 1:42. Unless I’m blind? I don’t know. Marvel at the fang symmetry between Eric and a werewolf!

Artist To Watch: Esmee Denters

Esmée Denters - untitled

Esmée Denters is undoubtedly on her way to musical stardom, with her debut album filled with songs she co-wrote with a host of top-notch hit-making producers.

Esmée is one of the first artists signed to Justin Timberlake’s Interscope imprint Tennman Records, but a mere two years ago, this Dutch 20-year-old was just a pancake house waitress with a webcam and a dream.

An aspiring singer who fell in love with her father’s Stevie Wonder albums as a child, Esmée was 17 when she began posting videos of herself on YouTube singing her favorite hits by Beyoncé, Alicia Keys, Pink, and Natasha Bedingfield, which she recorded in the bedroom of her suburban home of Oosterbeek in the Netherlands. “I had seen all these videos of amateur singers, which gave me the idea,” she says. “I was just interested in what other people thought of my voice,” she says. “My friends had told me they liked my singing, but I was curious to get strangers’ opinions because music was what I really wanted to do.” When the videos were a hit and viewers started to make requests, Esmée was encouraged and began posting several clips a week, including songs she’d written herself. Within nine months, Esmée’s videos had racked up 21 million views and the teenager became the No. 1 Most-Subscribed to Musician in the history of the popular video-sharing website.

It may have been her YouTube popularity that led Timberlake to seek out Esmée six months after her videos began to appear online, but it was her silky, soulful voice, natural charisma, and songwriting talent that sold him on signing her to his label, executive producing and co-producing the majority of her debut album. Timberlake, Chairman/CEO of Tennman Records says, "One of the reasons I started my label was to be able to discover and mentor new talent, and it's been a great experience guiding Esmée's development. I've been producing her in the studio and working with some other great collaborators on her album, and I've seen her writing go to another level. Some people have it and some people don't - but this girl's the real deal!"

It's a 'Scream 4' Casting Bonanza!

In order for the Kevin Williamson penned sequel to get off the ground, Dimension Films first had to secure the return of Neve Campbell, David Arquette and Courteney Cox, then convince Wes Craven to direct not one, but all three new Scream films. With a July start date looming for Sre4m Dimension Films has made a slew of offers to fill the roles of the "new young teens" in the latest adventures of good ol' Ghostface. Who might you see? Read on for the skinny.

Lake Bell is in negotiations to join the franchise, and offers are out to Twilight actress Ashley Greene, "Heroes" star Hayden Panettiere and Rory Culkin (Twelve) for key starring roles, reports Heat Vision.

Scream 4 reunites Wes Craven with Kevin Williamson, who kicked off a horror- movie revival with his “Scream” script in 1996. The story brings back original cast members Neve Campbell, David Arquette and Courteney Cox, though the new flick is seen as a passing of the baton to a new generation of slasher victims, with Williamson already under contract to write a fifth installment.

If deals are concluded, Greene would play Campbell's cousin Jill, essentially the heroine of the movie, and Panettiere would play her best friend, a nerdy film geek. Culkin would play a potential love interest for Jill.

Bell is negotiating to play a police officer who knew Sidney (Campbell) from high school.

Casting is proceeding slowly because Craven and Dimension are not sending the script to agencies in order to protect its secrecy. With only character descriptions, actors are having a difficult time deciding whether certain roles are for them. Reps for the actors declined comment.

The film will shoot in incentive-rich Michigan. The original was shot in Santa Rosa, Calif.

New Music: Alicia Keys Feat Drake Unthinkable Remix

I like the remix but Drake should have sung, it would have been perfect his rap verse kinda screws with the song's vibe but it's still pretty good.

First Look: Undercovers On NBC

Outwardly, Steven Bloom (Kodjoe) and his wife, Samantha (Mbatha-Raw), are a typical married couple who own a small catering company in Los Angeles and are helped by Samantha’s easily frazzled younger sister, Lizzy (Jessica Parker Kennedy). Secretly, the duo were two of the CIA’s best spies until they fell in love on the job five years ago and retired. When fellow spy and friend Nash (Carter MacIntyre) goes missing while on the trail of a Russian arms dealer, the Blooms are reinstated by boss Carlton Shaw (Gerald McRaney) to locate and rescue Nash. The pair is thrust back into the world of espionage as they follow leads that span the globe — and Steven and Samantha realize that this supercharged, undercover lifestyle provides the excitement and romance that their marriage has been missing.”

Thoughts? Excited Abrams is returning to his spy roots? Does Undercovers have the potential to be as good (if not better) than Alias? Sound off below?
