Excellent episode. I was actually surprised it was going to be that flashback heavy though with only the Emily/Daniel present day scene at the end.
Amanda certainly was a self-destructive little madam back in 2002, beating the crap out of a boyfriend and boozing it up like there was no tomorrow. Thank goodness for Nolan's intervention in this one.
It does seem odd that Amanda had contact with all these people back then and apart from Lydia/Nolan, no-one's actually recognised her in the present day. Not totally unbelievable, seeing as from their POV she was staff/briefly in town at the time but a bit strange though.
Nice to see the formations of both the Victoria/David and the Conrad/Lydia trysts throughout this episode. Lydia was pretty nasty to Emily as well during one scene.
Poor Roger but at least that's another show John Billngsley can cross off his list. I swear that guy's been in every show I've watched over the last couple of years.
Liked the twist with Mason actually writing the letter and Amanda's breakdown after Roger's death was impressive too.
Jack's hair was an abomination, his girlfriend was meh but I did like seeing his dad one more time and Nolan looked good in those flashbacks, didn't he?
