Yay, D-Money is back! Claire's attitude when it comes to Dylan is really annoying. What is so terrible about that boy, really? Claire needs to realize that the problem isn't that she wants Haley to like a "smart, responsible" boy, she wants Haley to be the kind of girl who is into the "smart, responsible" boy. She's not. Let it go.
I loved Jay's interview scenes, it added a whole dimension to his character, but I'm not sure how I feel about DeDe being such a horror that he wanted to leave her way back when Claire and Mitch were kids but he stuck it out on their behalf for another, what, 20 years? I love the sentiment that he wanted to be with his kids more than he wanted to get away from his wife, though, but still. Not sure I like turning DeDe, who was previously just a comical pain in the ass, into such a horror, or that Jay stayed in a miserable marriage. The first thing that came to mind was that school of thought that says such situations are just detrimental to everyone involved, although obviously Claire and Mitch turned out just fine.
I do love how Jay gets Gloria so well.
