Pleasantly solid episode but really, a little annoying that the parent/child interaction is now so separate that Faye doesn’t even spare a sentence for how it is she came to have the solo run of her house the entire night…and again, where/how is poor Jane? I get that we've completely abandoned reality in the service of unfettered teens but Faye is not head of household, and that’s just a little too much on-the-nose teen girl wish-fulfillment for me.
Glad the episode was not as fluffy as we had been led to believe, and did not center entirely around wacky V-day hijinks. It is, however, kind of a waste to introduce the Nidarlos (sp?) clan and have them wiped out in the same episode – I guess they were deemed expendable but it was such an interesting idea, we just seem to hear about people that Blackwell has dispensed with - and then Lucy also met her maker last week. I wonder if Blackwell shows up with a new psychic? Or if Lucy last week was a harbinger of its own, with the "I was never on your side, Dawn" comment?
