Beautiful episode. Just goes to show that TVD is a lot more that just fast-pacing and great cliffhangers.
Welcome new badass vampire hunter Connor. The saying goes you never get a second chance to make a first impression. You have nothing to worry about brother. Well done.
Kat Graham did well in her scene with Paul Wesley. She really conveyed a grieving tone to her acting, although I think she was just supposed to be upset in general. But she did a great job.
Caroline is way better as a transition buddy than the Salvatores. She needs to put Elena in vampire boot camp and get her into shape.
Tyler and Matt both win the award for taking one for the team, Awesome job guys.
Very interesting development with Jeremy being able to see Connor's tattoo when Matt couldn't. With Jeremy being able to see the dead does this mean that Connor is not all human or is it some sort of Vampire Hunter connection thing.
CONGRATS JULIE PLEC for keeping that ending totally UNDER WRAPS!!!!! I cried and cried. I LOVE Matt Davis & the fact that we only had to wait 2 episodes to see him again on TVD screen was WAY shorter than I anticipated. It's so nice that his new show allows him to make appearances.
