Compared to prior episodes, pacing was light years better, including the kids’ plotlines. Sure, Cassie was still a trusting fool twice (Jake and Lucy), but she wised up twice within the same episode, and the parents’ plot lines opened up the story/mythology like a flower (comparatively). I do believe teen angst comprised less than half the episode this time around!
