When this show fires on all cylinders, it really fires on all cylinders.
Best lines: Schmidt: "This is a horrible neighborhood - there are youths everywhere!" Jess: "Who are you, Officer Krupke?" I'm a sucker for West Side Story shoutouts.
Actually found Nick funny and not so obnoxious tonight, mostly because of Caplan (and how sad is it that she and Kwanten never shared a scene?) and her intern, and because even though the writer stole the bit from Seinfeld, putting people in the middle of Hispanic cockfights is always comedy gold.
Ryan Kwanten was actually good in this, though I do feel bad that he's beginning to be typecast as the dim white trash guy. I guess he just plays to his strengths (are there WT in Australia?).
Love Schmidt and Cece, even though it's obvious there's still big shame about it on Cece's part. Ah, whatever - I still vote that they fall madly and perfectly in love and make everyone else totally sick about it.
Good on Winston for growing a real pair. NO JESS/NICK EVAR.
