Huh, I kind of liked the Beatrice and Blair interactions better this episode. Her being a non-minion buddy of Blair's to butt heads over Serena could be fun. The only thing is while I got Beatrice becoming sympathetic to Blair when Blair explained her reasons for marrying Louis and giving up Chuck, I still would think that Beatrice wouldn't like that Blair was settling for her brother and Louis would be second best in his own marriage.

Bummer that Trip's exit is his being a blame shifting near manslaughterer. He was slimey but they wrote him out on all time low.
I'm appreciating Serena having to work to get a man for once. Dan's not trying to be completely clueless to her feelings but he has seemed to have put Serena in his past so he's just not open to realizing that she's back into him again.
Interesting that in a way they set up Blair to start falling for Dan in that way via the wedding vows he wrote for Louis. Although, WTH, Louis, you have Dan- another guy your girlfriend hangs out with a little too much for comfort- write your wedding vows? Why are the writers making him so unrootable and just...dumb?
The paralleling of Chuck and Dan's actions in this episode and how they show they love Blair was interesting: Chuck isn't giving up on love (admirable) but is going to sordid lengths to bring Blair back to him, Dan is hiding his feelings (which some may see as cowardly) and is only allowing him to show his love for Blair in a way that won't hurt her or the path she's committed to and trying go give her what she wants.
As an admitted Dair fan while the reveal of Dan writing Louis' wedding vows did make me go awww, the non-Dair Dair moment I liked more was when they were at the police station and Blair is giddy and laughing about having shots and Dan smiles/laughs at how giddy she is and Blair cuts her eyes back to him with a smile and laugh in response. It wasn't really a Dair moment but it the laughing look between them was cute.
