Revenge -1×10- Loyalty

I felt like a lot of things happened this episode, which is going considering its the midseason finale. We got background on Emanda and Mr. Takoshi, Amily is fully embracing the role of Amanda Clarke (by Emanda, using it as part of her plan), Victoria and Conrad are getting a divorce, Tyler is on meds, he gets fired from Grayson Global while Nolan gets outed by Amanda, Nolan and Tyler break up, Charlotte leaves Victoria, Victoria learns Amanda Clarke is in town, Daniel moves back in with V and turns against his father.

Do we really know that Amily is manipulating Jack? Sure she is lying to him, but I was under the impression by the way she told Emanda how no one has ever loved her like that, that she took an opportunity to find someone who would truly care about her. She didn't seem like she was bent on revenge and she was more than happy realizing Emanda is consenting her fully embracing the lifestyle. Emanda can't be one to complain, because I am sure she never told Amily how far she could take the role as Amanda Clarke.

I would talk about Tyler, and the meds but considering the promo for the episode in January.. I'll save my discussion for a later time. Hee. My speculation, though, is that Tyler shoots Amily to kingdom come and then we have woeful Jack for about 3 or 4 episodes until the engagement party where he seeks his revenge and shoots Tyler on the beach (after Tyler comes back from running away and getting more medication). Maybe Amily's death will shock Daniel into believing life is too short and pressures him to propose to Emanda.

Poor Victoria (not), she really has driven everyone away from her home. Think back to the pilot where she was surrounded by the whole community and her family, who, for the most part, still cared for her. Now she sits in her living room, alone, drinking wine. She lost Charlotte, Conrad, Daniel and Frank. She should invite Emanda over and become buddy buddies now that she probably has more to suspect with Amily as the real Amanda Clarke. Maybe Emanda will let Amily take the fall under Victoria's hands so Emanda won't have to worry about keeping her identity a secret with the 'real' AC out of the picture in V's eyes.

Oh, Ashley... she is like one of the younger kids on the playground who wants to play with the big boys but doesn't have what it takes and comes out looking foolish. Seriously, she is a wannabe con-woman. She doesn't have the social engineering that Emanda or Tyler possess so she should just sit this one out. She can sit next to Nolan. They aren't meant for this game, they're too...soft. Squishy.

Well, that was a good first run of episodes. Looks like we might return to some episodic revenge hits with the divorce attorney who seems to be next on Emanda's list. Lets hope she finds the strength to put her feelings in a little box, the infinity box, perhaps? Nolan and Mr. Takoshi really chewed her out this episode. Even I felt like crap.
