I was expecting a death (Jake?), or someone kidnapped (without the rescue) for the mid-season finale. Instead I was surprised. Nice resolution to Jake going away with Isaac (who seems to genuinely care for Jake), Cassie saved and the circle of five back together, Jane becoming very interesting and giving hints about the past, and Cassie's extra special status somewhat taken down a notch with the news she has a step-sibling in the circle. Faye I assume since Dawn had a big crush on Blackwell. Poor Faye, her beloved grandfather wasn't her biological grandfather at all.
The bad: continuity. Melissa's parent, and is it really possible that no one in town knows that Calvin's been missing for days? Where is his body?
Cassie - was she extra gullible about Jake this episode?
