THIS SHOW. I just want to reach through my screen and hug it so hard. This episode was amazing. And even though I loved A Fistful of Paintballs, I loved this part even more—just because we got to see the entire Greendale campus in action, working together. Also, Shirley and Britta being total badasses. And Vicki! In the last ep, she became my favorite Greendale character, and this part cemented it.
What I do find interesting about this episode is how neatly they addressed a lot of the concerns everyone brought up throughout this season, i.e. Britta being the one that's always mocked, Shirley being ignored during some of the eps—they managed to give both those characters a redemption arc. I loved watching them tear through the campus, shooting the bad guys—so, so, SO awesome.
I'll admit it—for as much as I hated Pierce in the D&D episode and at various times throughout the season, I teared up when he walked away from the group.
I can't wait for next season.
