Watching this episode made me realize that Gloria is my mom. My sister and I used to come home from school to find random strangers eating in our kitchen and laughing it up with my mom. To this day she'd give anyone the clothes off her back if it means she's helping someone. Love that about her and so Gloria's generosity really resonated with me.
I had to chuckle to at Phil going on about how evil the kids were, harkening back to the Mother's Day episode and Claire telling Gloria that sometimes she just wanted slug the kids.
And yes, Mitchell realizing his pose looked stereotypical, and trying not to do so, was hilarious.
