Damon surprised me, not with the craziness or the drunkenness, but with the admission that his big secret is missing being human. I did *not* see that coming.
But, then, he gutted me about ten times this episode. I actually had to walk away and get a Kleenex after the Rose situation. Wow. Ouch. And, yeah, he just killed me tonight. Many times over. I just....gah....I could well up just thinking about it.
It may be just him and his emoting, but Rose did really grow on me this episode. I ached for her.
And Tyler and Caroline crackle. Yowza. I've got nothing against Matt, but the chemistry just isn't the same.
Jules, however? Irritates the living tar out of me. I don't care about anything that comes out of her mouth. She actually reduces my interest in the werwolves (whereas Tyler makes me think it's a worthwhile plot). I just want her gone. I can't even put my finger on why, but her condescending attitude and lies to Tyler sealed her fate for me.
