Gossip Girl Season 4 Ep 12 : The Kids Are Not Alright
A powerful black family. About time GG.
I'm really liking the setup for Dair so far ... they both seem to enjoy each other, but are fighting any inroads at bonding every step of the way. It's almost as if they're ashamed that there's actually something to appreciate about the other person. I'm glad they're not making either of them act out-of-character to force something to happen. On a shallow note, LOVED Blair's dress at the party - made her look almost goddess-like.
I think Blair had a great line this episode when she said to Serena how part of working toward your future is facing / fixing your past. I think that line could have applied to any of the leads tonight.
Glad Lily was vindicated somewhat, as I didn't like to think of her as a pure villain. She probably would have saved everyone a lot of heartache if she'd just been up front about how she was handling their issues, but pride goeth before the fall.
Curious to see where the storyline with Nate's father ends up...the Captain doesn't exactly seem reformed.
All in all, a decent outing for Gossip Girl.
