So wow, Emily was completely on target regarding Annie's made up comments about her shallow friends, at least in terms of Adrianna. Honestly, Adrianna is just an awful person, and not in a fun way, but just in a "what horrible, selfish thing will she do next?" kind of way. I guess this is part of her downward spiral, and I was happy to see that she actually does still have a parent, but I have no clue where the writers are going with all this, particularly with this new wrinkle of trying to find her adopted out baby.
And seriously, is Emily supposed to be Single White Femaling Annie, like Annie suggested? Because what's the point? It isn't like Annie's life is one anyone would want anyways, what with the manslaughter conviction and all. And it was a little bit less this episode, now that her hair is darker, but the actress just resembles Kelly Taylor way too much, and it's really a distraction in all her scenes.
As for the rest, meh. So what if Debbie is sexing up Ryan? She's divorced, her kids are almost graduated and he isn't their teacher. And Navid and Silver are tiresome. It's not like this is the Summer of Deception and he's torn between two equally decent people. Adrianna's awful, and there's no reason to drag this out.
