The Vampire Diaries Season 2 Ep 11 : By The Light Of The Moon

Best, scariest werewolf transformation ever; truly horrific. You understand the curse.

Michael Trevino was the MVP in this one. He and Caroline were the heart of the episode to me. Wow. I really, really felt bad for him, and Caroline was a truly great friend. The way that she held him during and after his transformation was truly beautiful and really pulled on my heart. I didn't think I would like their storyline--or Tyler, for that matter--but it's quickly becoming one of the most interesting parts of the show.

Also lots of funny moments tonight. Alaric as the town drunk, "Vampire Barbie!" was awesome, Damon actually listening to Alaric and going home and locking the door... he expression was priceless, like "am I really listening to The Teacher and staying home like a good boy?" Katherine actually showing fear when Elijah showed up. Also funny was Jeremy this ep, from tricking Elena to flopping down on the couch, and being shoved off lol

Totally called the make-out dream sequence as early as last week, but a part of me is still glad that they really didn't go there.

Couple other things: Katherine telling Stefan to use Isobel to find Klaus was not an earth-shattering moment. The group already knows that Isobel was good at finding vampires. She didn't really give anything away there. And so now, is the tomb spell completely lifted, and Elijah's compulsion is the only thing keeping her in, or will the warlocks put the spell back in place once Elijah says so? And why was Damon so slow with stabbing Jules? There was a few seconds of Rose uselessy flailing before the bite, so where was Damon and his super vamp speed?
