I thought Brittany was sweet in the episode, but I keep feeling that they are making her infantile. I don't like my Brittany dumb, just continuously confused or random.
I was happy that it wasn't Sue who bought Artie his walking contraption, but Beiste. Dot Jones was great in this episode. I felt for her when SantaBeiste talked to Brittany about that girl who asked Santa to look like other girls.
I love Christmas music, but I felt the episode chose some pretty bland songs, except for Sue the Grinch and BICO.
I was groaning at the thought of Rachel having to be the one to beg for Finn's forgiveness. Will the writers ever acknowledge that Finn played a role in Rachel making out with Puck last episode? Ugh. And Finn looking happy with Santana decorating a Christmas Tree? Double ugh.
I thought they had a missed opportunity when Mike and Brittany did a little waltz together in the beginning of the episode. I thought it would have worked better with Mike and Tina because it would have reminded us that Tina and Mike are dating.
