Emma Stone ( Superbad, Zombieland, Easy A ) has reportedly been offered the role of Mary Jane Watson in the Spiderman reboot. Stone was one of a handful of girls selected to audition for the role of Mary Jane and Gwen Stacy, with Emma being chose for Mary the role of Gwen has yet to be filled.
Reports are saying that the first film will emphasize more on the Gwen Stacy character with Mary Jane taking center stage in the sequels.
I've been in love with Emma Stone ever since Superbad and I think she's a perfect choice for Mary Jane. After seeing Andrew Garfield this weekend in The Social Network I'm on board with him playing Peter Parker and with Marc Webb as director I think this is shaping to sound like a good movie.
