Modern Family -3×10- Express Christmas
Ty Burrell should put this show on next year's Emmy reel. "Mint condition. Near mint condition. Fair condition." LOL
And Manny! "There's my Butterball." "I have a name!"
And I loved Gloria with the Luke/look misunderstanding. And i rather enjoyed Gloria's policy for hit-and-run situations. That woman is a menace behind the wheel.
Mitchell and Alex's scene with the tree salesman was also really funny, as was their nonchalantly bringing the Christmas tree in in segments.
Not sure if it was the writing or the season, but the snow scene brought a tear to my eye. I really like Tough Guy / Marshmallow Jay. And Stella. Can't forget Stella.

New Girl -1×8- Bad In Bed
I feel like they're really hitting their stride as far as actually making use of the whole ensemble, and as far as making Jess seem like a sane adult human being. I really enjoy the gang together, I'm interested in seeing them tell stories for each of them individually, and I really, really like Jess and Paul together. I was a little disappointed in the jokes about Nick being uncomfortable in a black barbershop, but otherwise I loved this episode.
90210 -4×12- O Holly Night
I am at a point where I hope they just kill Navid off. He hasn't been likable or rootworthy in over a season and on top of that they keep rolling in this train of his dull dumb boring relatives like anyone cares. Michael is a fine actor, but unfortunately he hasn't had chemistry with anyone but J Low and I dislike Navid to the point where I think Adrianna getting back with him would make me dislike her too and I don't want that.
Silver hasn't been likable in over a season either. I didn't hate the idea of pairing her with this teacher but unfortunately he is dull as dishwater and what little chemistry I saw when they initially met seems to have vanished. Yet they still remain more tolerable than Navid and Silver. These couples sure move at lightning fast speed don't they? 2 episodes ago she was trying to hook him up with Annie over Thanksgiving turkey. WTF was she wearing btw?
I understand that Liam and Annie have fans, what I can't understand is why. Of course Annie gets the necklace and the money. Here's to hoping that storyline is over as it never made much sense to begin with. Also the character of Liam is a flat out bore.
I want to know what writer thought Austin was a good idea in any way, shape or form?
The only decent moments was the scene between Naomi and Holly when Holly found out that Naomi got the internship, and I was fine with the Dixon and Adrianna scenes and thought his song was cute (though I am saying now that if they sing every time they are onscreen together I am FF'ing through them both).
Worst. Cliffhanger. Ever.
Glee 3-8: "Hold On to Sixteen" 2011.12.06
The pacing of this episode was a hot mess. Too much stuff going on, but typical Glee, heh.
I just can't with that entire Sam plot, I'm just going to pretend it never happened and he never left. Except for the cute moments with Mercedes and Santana.
If I cared about the Shelby/Puck/Quinn/Beth mess I might have something more to say but I just hope it's going away.
I wouldn't object if the writers forgot about this new Finn/Blaine bromance now. They can erase Quinn/Rachel while they're at it. I don't even know what to say about Quinn this episode, but in spite of everything I did appreciate the scene with her and the girls from the TroubleTones. I was afraid they were going to use Finn.
The ND performance was way too long, and I thought Man in the Mirror was a mess. The first two were great though if I ignore how Quinn kinda looked like a demon. Kurt for MVP show stealer during ABC although Tina really rocked it. But I thought both the Unitards and the TroubleTones made good showings.
Yay for Tina and Mike, they were great, even if the acting left something to be desired and the writing was uber predictable, heh.

Gossip Girl 5-10: "Riding in Town Cars with Boys" 2011.12.05
Evil Uncle Jack is coming back, yay! Hopefully without the goatee. I wonder where he ties in everything. Nate's grandfather, Diana, Jack, and now Tripp and Max who possibly had something to do with the car. Who's next to join the secret team? Louis? Darota?
I love Lily's relationship with Chuck, I do believe she loves him a lot. More than her own biological kids most of the time. Heh.
So Rufus now knows Ivy's secret but I wonder if he really believed her or understood what she was saying. I'm over Max as the super bad guy. How would he know who Tripp was to Nate to tell him anything? Why was he just skulking around for most of the episode? Why didn't he just google some pictures of the real Charlie Rhodes or go down to Florida and find her. Let her know what her mother has been up to in her. I can't believe he is blaming Ivy for his life. She broke up with him. That was the worst thing I can say that she did to him.
Now Serena wants Dan back (again)? Whatever Serena. I liked that he took Blair to Chuck but oh how I will miss Dair.
I can't believe they went there with the Princess Di-like crash. Ugh.

Desperate Housewives -8×9- Putting It Together
I really didn't like this episode. Who didn't call something happening to Chuck at the end of this episode? Or Bree becoming suicidal, for that matter? I even suspected Carlos would ditch is rehab early. No surpises tonight.
I highly doubt Bree shoots herself. A) She's a main star of this show, and B) the show already went there with whatever character Nicolette Sheridan played. She'll have some kind of of epiphany, stop drinking, and somehow save the day. Just speculation on my part.
Susan and Mike should go to New York. (Interesting that the art dealer was having problems paying Susan, but suddenly had money to put Susan up in an apartment in New York City.) I don't see anything keeping the two of them on Wysteria Lane. Aside from their child, has anything good ever happened to them in that neighborhood? Seems like someone is always getting killed, comitting suicide, blackmailing someone, getting drunk, or setting fire to someone's house. I'd be thrilled to leave.
Sadly, I have a sinking feeling Chuck isn't even dead. And so will continue my least favorite storyline on this show ever. I can't believe they're going out like this.

Once Upon a Time (2011) -1×6- The Shepherd
Well, hello again, Alan Dale. Loved him as King Charming, although the character is a dick for threatening to kill Charming and his mother if he didn't play along and marry Midas' daugther. Like the bit that he is apparently the reason Rumpel finds and kills the fairy godmother.
Loved the episode. Got some good insight into Charming. Didn't see the twist of the Charming now isn't the same one at the beginning coming. And I liked how it set-up how he and Snow meet that we saw in the past episode. As for them back in modern times, I figured they were going to find a way to prevent it since it's too soon. But I'm still rooting for them as a coupe which is rare for me.
Oh, Sheriff. This wasn't your best moment to say the least. And really, Regina? Having sexy time when your son is at the house? And her pleasure over fucking up Mary/James is creepy and, well, evil.
I'm still amazed over how Robert Carlyle plays both Rumpel and Mr. Gold. There are times I almost forget it's the same actor. He continues to be the highlight of the show for me.
Sad there was no Hopper or Ruby. At least Dr. Whale return, being all slimey and whatnot.
Next week looks good; looks like we'll find out what the Sheriff was in fairy land.
Parks and Recreation -4×9- The Trial Of Leslie Knope
The cold open with Ron learning about cookies and then throwing his computer away was hilarious, as was his repeated attempts to make enough noise to cover up Leslie saying his address so that the court reporter couldn't put it in the official record. Oh, and sniffing out the presence of Tammy 2 was, as always, great.
Andy's look of confusion and panic as Leslie described what she needed from her office was priceless.
Loved all the stories about Pawnee's history, like Marcus Everett Langley, Old Stoneface -- *shudder* -- and the woman who exposed her elbow outdoors and was set adrift on Lake Michigan like a human popsicle. The frozen whore. Oh, and also the archaic laws that everyone was uncovering, like blacks not being permitted to walk on sidewalks.
Love Leslie's email to Ann. "Email entitled Yay. That’s y, a, and eighteen y’s and forty-four exclamation points."
All of the stuff with Ethel reading the transcript was great. "Crying noise. Crying noise. Nose blow."
And I loved the last scene with Jerry... er, Gerry. It was great getting confirmation about his real name.

Community -3×9- Foosball and Nocturnal Vigilantism
This was such an amazing episode! Jeff and Shirley just work so well together, and the "they knew each other before" trope was used brilliantly to highlight part of how they have become the characters we know... The anime sequence was hilarious, and Mini!Jeff and Shirley walking away hand in hand were so heartwarming! Also, how fun that the leader of the "Deutsches" was The Douche!
The other story was great too... loved Troy humming the song from the Halloween episode, Abed being "in character" but still not quite managing to climb out of the window and Annie's ever returning crush on Abed's characters...Leonard's food reviews and Britta and her cats and Totorola phone (they come in a sixpack !) were hilarious too...gosh, I really love this show!

American Horror Story -1×9- Spooky Little Girl
Poor, poor Vivian :[ She was raped, and then institutionalized, and now her husband is being an asshole. Poor Vivian!
The Black Dahlia storyline was actually sort of interesting. Although the real-life crime was horrible, the way they wove it into the show with Charles acting out his freaky jigsaw/puzzle-human fantasies out on her was interesting.
Hayden was less unlikable than usual, so yeah...that's good I guess. I guess when the majority of a show's characters are horribly unlikable, even the psycho ones come off in a better light.
I know that pretty much nothing can redeem Tate for what he's done but that scene between him and Constance made me so sad. I actually almost shed a tear when he said "mommy". If this isn't their submission for an Emmy, I don't know what is.
"A baby what? Fossil?" HA!
Does Ben not wonder how ALL these people have been getting into his house? He's not only a jerk and the worst therapist ever, but he's really oblivious.
But that ending with Moira becoming old in front of Ben was AWESOME! Even though I can't stand Ben normally, I'm proud of him for eventually realizing what's going on and starting to defend Vivian.
WTF is up with that Pope's Box mess? Could have done without that. Are they trying to say Tate is the devil or something? This show just gets weirder and weirder and I keep watching.
Looks like we'll be getting a super duper creepy psycho Tate next week (even moreso than usual!)
