First Look At Your New Spiderman

Sony Pictures has officially released the first picture of  the new Spiderman Andrew Garfield in his Spidey suit. I think it looks great and Andrew Garfield  actually looks great as Peter Parker.

Spiderman will hit theaters on July 3rd 2012

Modern Family Season 2 Ep 12 : Our Children Ourselves

OMG, this episode was awesome! I have to say, Gloria/Jay/Manny are usually the least interesting to me, but tonight they cracked me up--the conversation between the couple and Jay in the kitchen was awesome, with Manny's dribble glass really capping it off!

Phil/Claire were really sweet. It was nice to see that they have the same sense of humor.

Cam/Mitchell--I had NO IDEA they were gonna go with Tracy being married to a little person that Mitchell thought was his son. That totally took me by surprise--in the best way possible. I was dying!

The Game Season 4 Ep 1 Parachutes .... Beach Chairs

I thought tonights episode was really good not perfect but really great.


I always thought it would be interesting if the baby had turned out to be Malik's. (Janay did seem to hint that was a possibility at one point). For one he really isn't living up to his potential as last season showed he is capable of being a grown up it would have been nice to see the writers take that ball and run with with it. Plus it would remove the soapy element to Melanie and Derwin's relationship so maybe these idiots would have to actually deal with each other instead of the constant angst. Even the fallout between Derwin and Malik would be amazing to watch considering how integral their relationship is to the team. Plus Tasha would get a grandbaby and another young black woman to mentor which would be untold amounts of awesome.


I actually understood Melanie simply needing to know the truth a bit. I don't think she handled the situation very well but I could understand her having doubts and really needing to be certain.

Kelly wants Jason back there's no doubt about that but she really wants it on her terms. The thing is I think Jason wants her back too he just doesn't want to admit it. Their both playing chicken right now and while I get that people play masochistic games with each other all the time it's really hard to watch, especially since I always loved these two together a lot. They bring out the best and worst in each other and whatever they say they really don't seem to know how to live without each other.

Tasha's story was off a little to me she was still the same fabulous fierce bitch we all love but honestly her boytoy isn't much of an actor.

Malik is well Malik, what he did to TT was predictable but I really do give TT credit for trying to get away from him at this point. I actually like how TT has evolved from a bit player to a character with his own voice. Malik's payback is coming soon I just hope the lesson sticks this time.

The Cape Season 1 Episode 1 Pilot & 2 Tarot

Around the 40 minute mark, when the little guy from the Pirates of the Caribbean movies beat the **** out of a scaled covered Vinnie Jones, was when I decided I have to stick with the show. You don't see that every day!

Overall, it wasn't perfect, but I actually found myself enjoying it, especially the second episode, which is especially a good thing. Not familiar with the actor playing Vince, but he's likable enough, and I like that while he did make a ton of mistakes, he picked himself back up, and learned from them. Very refreshing compared to the whiny "heroes" on No Ordinary Family. Unsurprisingly, James Frain was also perfectly slimy as the villain. Love watching them battle with both wits and physical skills.

And that supporting cast. Jones! Summer Glau! Richard Schiff! Izabella Miko! And Keith David! Now, that man just owned the screen. His fake-out death reveal was the best part of the show.

The dialogue was corny as **** and even though I love her, Glau's character isn't very interesting so far. I hope that changes soon. Also not all that wild about Vince's family.

Random note: like the little inside joke where the robbers called the store clerk "Borat", since the actor was in that movie, as Borat's overweight friend.

I will definitely stick with it. It can't be any worse then The Event, right? Of course, I'm sadly pessimistic about how it will fair in the ratings. We'll see, but I have a bad feeling that it might not take off with the majority of tv viewers. I can only hope it has a chance to grow and actually improves on it's weaknesses. 

Desperate Housewives Season 7 Ep 12 : Where Do I Belong?

Better than last week. Although, even unspoiled, I knew we'd see Zack again based on last week's preview. I mean, who else would it be that would "surprise" us?

Did Zack/flower guy even venture near the couch where the gun was found? I didn't think so, but I still assume he is the one that put it there. Does that mean he shot Paul?

I don't really understand the Gaby/doll/doll lady storyline. Are we supposed to think it's creepy/crazy or not? The scene at the store was just bizarre and it was hard to tell if it was supposed to be sweet/comforting moment or if we were supposed to feel unsettled.

Other than that, this episode had two moments that I thought were pretty emotionally charged and well done for a DH episode - the scene in the hotel room with Susan and her mom and the Scavo breakfast scene. I loved the Scavo scene and it was refreshing that that is how the storyline concluded, rather than the boring typical Lynette/Tom speech.

Wonder Woman Hits Another Snag.

DC Comics most popular and iconic female has had a tumultuous time translating from beyond her comic roots. A WW movie has been in development hell for years, and now the proposed TV series seems to be in trouble too.  Earlier in the week David E Kelly ( Ally Mcbeal, The Practice ) who wrote the script for the new  TV reboot , shopped it around to various networks with no success at all. Fox and ABC passed and the CW network passed because of what the show may cost to produce. NBC was the last network that the show was shopped to and they passed on it as well.

Modern Family Season 2 Ep 11 : Slow Down Your Neighbors

As usual, it was the little things that made literally made me laugh out loud:

- Barry warming his hands on the painted fire
- Cameron's "16-year-old-girl" giggles
- Haley popping out of the bushes to see if her friends were gone
- Manny's absolute joy of having a bike, even with training wheels


Luke and his water gun were full of win for me. Also for some reason seeing Gloria ride her bike into the bushes made me laugh so hard.

Raphael Saadiq – ‘Radio’

Raphael Saadiq is blessing the music game again. His last record The Way I See It was in 2008, and his upcoming album entitled Stone Rollin is set for release in March. The first single from that called Radio has dropped. Take a listen and enjoy.

Desperate Housewives Season 7 Ep 11 : Assassins

I was annoyed with this episode for the following reasons:

Susan said she has never had any health issues. Um, didn't she have major surgery in season two because of her spleen or something? It was a multiple episode storyline...

I really, really never wanted to see Orson again. 

PAUL IS ALIVE!? Ugh. I don't know why, but a "who shot ____" storyline becomes far less interesting when that person is just injured. I was really hoping he was dead. Now the rest of the season will just be more buildup of Paul planning his revenge on Beth or something. I guarantee you this plotline won't *actually* develop until the season finale. 

Yet another passive-aggressive Lynette and Tom story. Wow, what has it been, about 15 minutes since the last one?

Gaby being an idiot. She gazes at Grace's picture, blatantly, in front of Juanita? Uh?

I will watch this show until the very end. But some episodes make me wish the end was near...
